Some Information of Internet Marketing and Blog!
First of all, remember to stay on topic. Each person having a blog will have his own opinions regarding events and facts and they are generally accepted. But the other content on the blog should revolve around a general theme. Many of the visitors on your blog page will be more interested in the facts you present on your page and not to what you eat for breakfast. Try to define a certain style which can be associated with your blog and try stick to it. This way you will be sure that you create among your visitors a loyal group who reads what you say for the topic you write about.Always keep in mind to be informative on your blog. If you write articles about a specific industry or any other specific thing, stay up to date with information about that sector. Because your reputation is at stake, remember to always check the facts before putting them out on the internet for people to see. Be as accurate on what you write as possible. Always be sure to distinguish clearly between facts and your personal opinions. When writing your personal opinions about a certain aspect, make it clear that the post is to be read as an editorial. Always be up to date with the information you write about. It is indeed very hard to write a page every day, but if you want to be keep your frequent readers close, write about current events. A story about an event which happened many months ago, no matter how big it was back then, is still old news and it will not interest anyone. You can create a schedule. But if you do so, you must stick to it. People who currently read you will expect a new post from you on the date you specified and will not enjoy if you do not respect your word. Going on a holiday for some time is accepted and understood, but constantly missing your self-made appointments with your readers will only make you look unserious. You will not want to lose your audience after you have spent a lot of time and effort building your blog and gathering them around you. If you want the readers to easily understand and follow you, keep your writings clear and simple. Remember that not only people from your country may read your page and some phrases cannot be translated with accuracy. If you want to increase your visibility by writing on your blog, remember to include key words in the blog’s title. Remember, titles attract attention and they should summarize what you have written about in the subsequent post.In order for both readers and search engines to be up to date and follow your blog frequently, archive your previous posts to build up somewhat of a portal around your blog’s theme.
Is One Blog Enough to Earn Me a Full-time Income?
Compared to building websites, blogs are easier, cheaper and faster to build, but can one be enough to earn you a full-time income?
This is the question I often get asked and the answer really is “yes and no.”
A little bit ambiguous I know, but there are genuine reasons for my answer …
If you’re an intermediate to advanced marketer who knows how to
a) get traffic to your blog and b) monetize your blog by converting more of your visitors into paying customers, then I say you have a solid reason for diversifying into other niche markets and build more blogs – so long as you know how to manage all of them.
The problem really comes when you don’t know how to get traffic to your blog, you struggle with keeping it maintained, your blog posts are mediocre and even if people do land on your blog, they hit the back button in seconds … in other words, they escape your blog without even taking note of what you have to say.
This is when I argue that you should think twice before building more blogs unless you really feel that you’re currently blogging in the wrong market … your target market are unresponsive to blogs or to searching for information online generally or, because you just don’t know enough about the subject matter to create an authority blog.
Other than that, this is the strategy I would pursue to get more traffic and monetize your blog before building more of them:
Post at least 3 times per week and make those blog posts informative. Informative could include doing a quality review of a product that you are an affiliate for, giving tips on how to use a particular product and even doing a track back to someone else’s blog post.
Ensure your ping list is up together so that you get the maximum benefit from publishing your blog posts.
Comment on other people’s blogs – particularly those in your niche. I’m sure I wear my blog readers down with this one, but it’s relevant and new bloggers still fail to recognize blog commenting as a credible means to getting traffic and natural links back to your site.
If you read comments on other people’s blogs then you should be commenting because you already know the value. I’ve landed consulting business just from commenting on other people’s blogs. One of my clients read my comment on Stephen Pierces blog, the author of Making Real Money on the Internet, and contacted me to build a blog for him … sweet!
Tag your blog posts. Each time you make a post add your keywords as tags at the bottom of your post as well as to your Wordpress pages. I would use the Simple Tags plugin to do this which, will allow you can categorize your content based on a tagging engine so your posts are indexed by services like technorati.
Syndicate your posts. Once your post is pinged and tagged properly, you should submit your posts to social media sites which will enable you to generate some immediate traffic. It can be an arduous task, but by using something like Web 2.0 Submitter to do this, the task can be completed in a fraction of the time
There are a myriad of other strategies you can use to bring more traffic to your site but if you focus on these five and perform each task with due diligence and you’ll see your traffic stats increase in a matter of weeks.
Once you’ve perfected or at least able to use these strategies comfortably, you can apply them to any niche. Whether you’re able to make a full-time income from just one blog really depends on the size of the target market – hence the reason I personally stay away from tiny niches – but you’ll still never know if you’re able to make a full-time income from one blog if you don’t give it time to start producing from you.

5 Brand-Building Secrets Through Blogging
Technorati recently completed its 2008 State of the Blogosphere report, which contains some interesting information about the correlation between blogs and brand building. The report shows that bloggers are interested in talking about brands. So if you’re looking for ways to build your brand, make friends with some bloggers!
Blogging is, at its heart, a place for people to share information about themselves and about their lives. If people have good experiences, they blog about them. If they have bad experiences, they blog about those, too. This includes experiences with businesses both online and in real life. If bloggers encounter a product or service that they find phenomenal, they will blog about it. Same goes for products or services that they find abysmal. In fact, nearly 80 percent of bloggers talk about brands and/or products that they love or hate, and 37 percent of them do so on a frequent basis. Many businesses have taken advantage of this publicity. In fact, one-third of all bloggers have been asked to act as brand advocates.
This may seem silly given that anyone can maintain a blog. Why should internet users trust a blog over any other source of information? Why are bloggers any more credible that anyone else? The truth is that bloggers primarily look to blogs for information rather than to other sources. In fact, 49 percent of bloggers believe that blogs are just as reliable as mainstream media for getting information.
The point here is that blogs are a great resource to explore when you are trying to build your brand. Here are 5 things to keep in mind regarding blogs and brand-building.
1. Blogs are Credible. Some marketers are concerned about the possibility of having their brand show up on a blog because they are afraid that the blog might not be credible. Rest assured that, although they are often informal, blogs are often seen as legitimate sources of good information. In fact, many large corporations include blog-mentions among the press included on their websites.
2. Blog Discussions are Natural. If a brand or product makes an impact on a blogger, he or she will probably mention it on a blog. Some companies even ask bloggers to review products and introduce new products. Many bloggers already include ads on their blogs, so they will probably be happy to include information about your product or service as well, given that they find it worth mentioning.
3. Bloggers are Bright. As a whole, bloggers are both educated and affluent. In fact, 75% of bloggers also graduated from college and 42% have attended at least some graduate school. More than half of them are part of a household than brings in over $75,000. These are good people to know from a marketing standpoint. They’re savvy and they have a lot of money to spend. These are people you want on your team.
4. Bloggers Read Other Blogs. Bloggers get most of their information from other bloggers; so if you want to get noticed, you need to make sure that you become visible on a blog. Keep in mind that, not only do bloggers read other blogs regularly, bloggers also use blogs as their primary source of information about brands and products. This is obviously a great way to make yourself visible and to attract the attention of potential customers.
5. Your Competitors are Doing It! Since so many companies are already asking bloggers to act as brand advocates, chances are that your competitors are already among those taking advantage of blogs as brand builders. Do yourself a favor and start using blogs to build your brand or you could find yourself out in the cold!
If your image of a blogger is a pimply-faced teenager sitting in his basement writing about his latest conspiracy theory, you need to update your perceptions. Bloggers are a bright group who look to each for information. Use them in your brand-building efforts and you’ll see results!
