Review of Blogging To The Bank 2.0 ebook

By now I think most people in the world know about blogs.

What most don’t know as there is a great income to be made as well for free.

Rob Benwell is only a mere 22 years old and has already made a fortune using

this method. Early last year he sharing his secrets with the world in his highly successful Blogging To The Bank ebook and has made making money online

a whole lot easier for everyone.

Just over a year after the success of his first book he is now releasing his

second helping to wet our appetites and keep the fat bucks rolling in.

I got this book and soon as I could and it covers quite a lot of new information and techniques to adapt your blog to the new demands of the major search engines. Many of the techniques in the old book are now dated and don’t work so well. This is why Blogging To The Bank 2.0 is a godsend.

Also this guy doesn’t consider himself to be a “guru”, he’s just a normal guy

who wants to help the little guys out. I find this a nice change as he doesn’t

talk “down” to you like most of the other guys do. He explains everything in a

nice simple manor so everyone can understand.

Saying that when he “goes off on one” it may take a few reads until you get it

but when you do it’s just shear genius. Some of the topics in my opinion could

have been covered a little more, then others went into great detail. You also

get his 5 blogging commandments that you must follow to give you blogs the

greatest success. This should be printed out and put on the wall of every

online marketer without a doubt! His book starts off with market research

(so that you are making the most of your time) to building your blogging

empire. Everything is covered in this new outing that helps bloggers with

todays online issues regarding making the all mighty search engines happy.

Final Verdict: if you are out there in the blogging world and want to make money the easy way then I highly recommend Blogging To The Bank 2.0.

Why work harder than you need to as the new techniques are there ready for you to simply implement.

First of all, remember to stay on topic. Each person having a blog will have his own opinions regarding events and facts and they are generally accepted. But the other content on the blog should revolve around a general theme. Many of the visitors on your blog page will be more interested in the facts you present on your page and not to what you eat for breakfast. Try to define a certain style which can be associated with your blog and try stick to it. This way you will be sure that you create among your visitors a loyal group who reads what you say for the topic you write about.Always keep in mind to be informative on your blog. If you write articles about a specific industry or any other specific thing, stay up to date with information about that sector. Because your reputation is at stake, remember to always check the facts before putting them out on the internet for people to see. Be as accurate on what you write as possible. Always be sure to distinguish clearly between facts and your personal opinions. When writing your personal opinions about a certain aspect, make it clear that the post is to be read as an editorial. Always be up to date with the information you write about. It is indeed very hard to write a page every day, but if you want to be keep your frequent readers close, write about current events. A story about an event which happened many months ago, no matter how big it was back then, is still old news and it will not interest anyone. You can create a schedule. But if you do so, you must stick to it. People who currently read you will expect a new post from you on the date you specified and will not enjoy if you do not respect your word. Going on a holiday for some time is accepted and understood, but constantly missing your self-made appointments with your readers will only make you look unserious. You will not want to lose your audience after you have spent a lot of time and effort building your blog and gathering them around you. If you want the readers to easily understand and follow you, keep your writings clear and simple. Remember that not only people from your country may read your page and some phrases cannot be translated with accuracy. If you want to increase your visibility by writing on your blog, remember to include key words in the blog’s title. Remember, titles attract attention and they should summarize what you have written about in the subsequent post.In order for both readers and search engines to be up to date and follow your blog frequently, archive your previous posts to build up somewhat of a portal around your blog’s theme.

Building A Blog

I get questions all the time from aspiring internet marketers and people looking to make money online. A question in an email I received recently was, “Can you really make money flipping blogs?” and I decided to write an article to answer that question for everyone.

The quick answer is that you can make money doing almost anything. However, I think the question he was really asking was, “Is there a good possibility of making a lot of money flipping blogs?” It depends on what your definition of a lot of money is but for most people the answer is definitely yes you can make a lot of money flipping blogs. And, it can be done with relatively little effort on your part if you’re willing to spend some money to take a few shortcuts. This article will outline the basic process.

Step one – This is really simple. You have to decide what kind of blog you want to flip. This decision should be based on demand for a particular niche. If you don’t know how to find a good niche that’s no problem, just go to sites that allow you to buy and sell blogs like the Sitepoint Marketplace and take a look at the listings. You’ll see what people are bidding on and what is selling well. This is the best way to research because it is from real live information that you can actually see.

Step two – Get a domain for the blog. You want the domain name to closely match the niche of the blog. So if you are building a blog about online dating, you want to get a domain that has the keyword phrase “online dating” in it. This will make the domain much more attractive to buyers because it is descriptive and will help rank in search engines.

Step three – Get a template and create the content for the blog. You can create or buy a professional blog template, or use one of the many free templates available online if you must. The content will consist of the articles/posts and any product that you might to include with the blog. Yes, you will get more out of the blog flip if you offer a product that they can sell along with the blog. Make sure it is a unique product and not some garbage PLR product that you picked up somewhere.

Having quality content will greatly increase the amount people will be willing to pay for your blog so if you can’t create the content yourself, go to a site like Elance.com and have it created for you. It can be done cheaply enough so that you’ll still make a nice profit on the sale of the blog.

Step four – Head over to the Sitepoint Marketplace or another site where you can sell blogs, and put the blog up for sale. Make sure you have a very attractive listing for the blog. Excellent copywriting skills will come in handy for this part of the process because a great description increases your chances of selling the blog for maximum profit.

It is more than possible to build a blog every week and sell it for as much as $500 or more. It’s not uncommon to see blogs go for thousands of dollars! That’s a lot of money for what little work you really have to do. Essentially it amounts to getting a domain, outsourcing some work and putting up an ad. If you can get the outsourced work done quickly or do it yourself quickly, you can easily build more than one blog per week.

So, the answer is yes, you really can make money flipping blogs, and lots of it!

Building A Blog

Well for starters, it is FREE to have a blog. But why you have to choose to build a blog?

Not a normal website. Let’s read why.

A blog is basically your own website that you can use for whatever purpose you like. To talk about current event or your favorite topics, or you can use it to market and promote stuff.

You may heard that sometime Internet marketers call it niche marketing. It is all the same. More recently, people have been realizing the benefits of using their blogs to create an opt-in list.

The money truly is in the list, trust me! From a general quality list, you should be able to gain ROI as high as 1000% or more. And the ROI will continue increasing because when you have a better relationship with your list, you will be able to gain more.

All you have to do is set up your blog to have an email address form on it. Then, you write a short, informative report on the topic of your niche and offer it to your readers for FREE in exchange for their email address.

Simple, but it is so effective. Your readers (and future customers for life!) will type in their first name and email address into your auto-responder form (look up auto-responder if you are not familiar with what it is) in order to download your free report.

You’ll harvest their email addresses, you have begun building your blog opt-in list!

Now you have so many opportunities to make money with your list once you have built a responsive one.

Remember, your list does NOT have to be huge in order to make you a recurring income that you can live very comfortably off of.

It is all about the relationship you create/build with your list and the quality of the material that you give them (and also sell them).

An opt-in list is a vital and valuable asset for any business, especially online ones.

A blog is just a great tool for you to use to build your list. It’s free, it gets picked up easily by the search engines, it’s a wide used platform that you can find additional functionality easily and it looks professional!

To be able to build a list for FREE that can earn you literally millions of dollars is quite an incredible phenomenon and we should all be grateful for this great opportunity.

Building A Blog

There are hundreds if not thousands of blogs being registered daily. However, not many people have a strong idea of how to setup a blog to make money with it. Even when you setup a money making blog, money doesn’t come immediately. You need to work for it and be patience to start seeing the money to come to you.

When you are ready, below are some tips to help you make money with blog.

1. Research

When you are starting anything online, you need to do a research to have an idea of what your result will be. When you are starting your blogging business, you will want to research your niche. The easiest way is to look into your interest, magazines and best selling list.

When you have your niche, it is recommended that you build your blog on the sub-niche. Let’s say your niche is relationship, maybe you can blog about husband and wife relationship. You will be more focus in your blog post and you blog will seem more professional rather than posting everything about relationship.

2. Setup your blog

Your blog name does play it parts when comes to ranking high in search engine result page (SERP). So, see that your main keyword is incorporated into your blog name.

For the husband and wife relationship sub-niche you just chosen, guideforthemarried.com seems to tell what you are offering in your blog.

3. Optimize your blog

When you are optimizing your blog, remember that you are doing it for the search engines and your readers. So, choose 2-3 keyword phrases about husband and wife relationship and write your post around them. This will then help to get your blog listed in the SERP.

Optimizing your blog for search engines will only get your blog rank high in SERP. Still, your readers are the real people who help you to make money with blog. They are the one who click on your advertisement and buy your affiliate product.

When viewers see you are forcing your keywords into your posts and made it sound unnatural, they will not come back to you again. When that happens, you will fail miserably in your blogging business.

4. Monetizing your blog

When you are done with optimizing your blog, it is time you build some affiliate link to your blog post. Find your product from the affiliate program network and promote them in your blog.

When you are looking for your affiliate product, look for one that gives code for banners too. You will want to put some of these banners in your sidebar so that your blog look more interesting. However, you need to be careful when you are putting banners on your blog because too much of them can distract your viewers’ attention.

5. Drive traffic

How much money you can make with blog depends highly on the traffic to your blog. So, the more people read your blog and convinced by you, the more you can earn. What you can do is to submit articles to various article directories online. When you have extra money to spare, you can always get an article submission service to do the job for you. If you are low on budget, you can look for the top 10-15 article directories and submit the articles yourself.

Another good way to drive traffic to your blog is to link to other’s blog. Before you can link to other bloggers, you will want to comment on their post. Share constructive comments about what they say, they will be happy to link to you. Then you will be able to leverage on the blogger existing traffic to build your blogging business.

  • Whether you re an experienced blogger or an absolute beginner, you can make money with your blog. Simply follow the step-by-step advice of two expert bloggers and industry insiders who have launched many successful sites of their own. They ll walk you through every step of the blogging process, and they ll even share their most profitable tricks of the trade. I picked up this book based upon its cover, but there is nothing in it about career building through blogging. Rather, it reads like an introduction to blogging, but without a clear audience. The paltry offerings seemed to be aimed at older readers unfamiliar with the web, but the content is written in an overly simplistic style, as if for young teens. Robert C. Walker's review echoes my thoughts: don't waste your time or money on this book. This digital document is an article from Indiana Business Magazine, published by Thomson Gale on August 1, 2007.
